As we move into the height of the Holiday Season, I hope you are finding some time for yourself and to enjoy with your loved ones. If one of the items on your New Year's resolutions list is to spend more time with family and friends then what better way than to plan a vacation? Or better yet, surprise your loved ones this holiday season with next year's vacation!
One of my family's traditions is getting together with friends around the Holidays and planning a trip for the following year. We typically agree on the destination and then spend a few weeks ironing out the details. It really gives us something to look forward to!
Read below for how travel improves your health and relationships...
Research shows vacations are incredibly important for disconnecting from the stress of the day-to-day routine and schedules. Traveling rejuvenates, reduces stress, and allows you to re-connect with family and friends. Yet, Americans leave more unused vacation days than most countries in the world!
Aside from creating wonderful life long memories, travel has a positive effect on health, relationships and your performance at work. Travel is not a luxury but a necessity!
To reap these benefits you don’t have to travel across the world. It could be a short road trip or exploring some of the spectacular states we have in the US.
Happy Holidays to you and your family and may the New Year bring you lots of health and happiness.
In 2015, may you travel somewhere you've never been!
