WHAT THE CLIENT ASKED FOR...
Maureen and Jon reached out to plan a special anniversary trip to Japan, with a focus on the country’s rich history and beautiful gardens. They hoped to travel during a season with mild, comfortable weather and wanted an itinerary that allowed them to explore without feeling rushed. Since Jon is unable to walk or stand for long periods, they needed thoughtful planning and special care to ensure each day of sightseeing was comfortable and enjoyable.

WHAT WE BOOKED FOR THEM...
I recommended late October to early November for comfortable temperatures, beautiful autumn colors and fewer crowds. We created a seamless two-week itinerary with private vehicles and drivers for all sightseeing to ensure comfort and ease throughout the trip. Greeters assisted them at the airport and at every train departure and arrival, making all transitions effortless. Their journey included time in Tokyo and visits to the cities best known for Japan’s most stunning gardens: Kanazawa, Kyoto and Hakone.

THEIR TESTIMONIAL...
"We want to thank you for doing such a fabulous job with our transportation, guides, hotels, and itinerary. We were hard pressed to pick a favorite guide. They were all knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The drivers were efficient and knowledgeable too. All of our greeters were unflaggingly polite and respectful. The hotels were outstanding and the staff at each could not do enough for us. We were treated royally and a special thanks for alerting each hotel to our anniversary! We got a special welcome at each one. We had so many “favorite” things, but a few worth mentioning were the train museum in Kyoto, the Shinkansen rides and the train stations, the Otagi Buddhist temple with the 1200 carved figures, the open air museum in Hakone, and the compelling Mt. Fuji, which we were lucky enough to see. We felt we were experiencing the best with the least stress."
