This may be the year to explore North America! There is so much uncertainty right now about traveling. So why not learn about some amazing experiences for Foodies and Wine Lovers right in our own backyard?
This week I’m sharing incredible experiences we offer in some of the most spectacular wine regions in North America.
Napa / Sonoma
This is, by far, the best-known wine region in our country. I’ll share here a couple of the unique experiences we offer that will make your visit unforgettable.
Olive Grove Visit with Olive Oil and Wine Tastings… yes, you can enjoy this amazing experience in California! This private tour takes you to the most spectacular setting on an estate surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Enjoy tastings and a seasonal farm-to-table meal that will create the most special memories.
Horseback Vineyard Trail Ride with Wine Tastings… Trot through lush green vineyards and enjoy a picnic lunch with wine tastings as you explore Northern California's wine region on horseback with an expert wrangler!
Central California
Santa Barbara is known as the American Riviera, and the nearby Ynez Valley offers boutique wineries with spectacular backdrops of its rolling hills and vineyards. Enjoy a full day exploring the area, visit wineries, learn about their winemaking techniques, and enjoy tastings. Food samples will be paired with your wines!
Oregon / Willamette Valley
This area, not as well-known as its neighbor to the south, offers luxury accommodations, a gorgeous coastline, and some of the best Pinot Noirs in the world. The wine region is only about an hour from Portland so it makes for wonderful day trips. Below are a couple of unique experiences in this region.
A Private Helicopter Vineyard Hopping Experience… Enjoy views of Willamette Valley during this exclusive experience where you will hop between 2 or 3 wineries.
Spring-time Truffle Hunting Experience… spend the morning out with a hunter and his dogs to hunt for truffles. Then enjoy a gourmet lunch with wine pairings in the most spectacular setting.
British Columbia
Did you know there are spectacular wine regions right outside of Vancouver (over 200 wineries)? With its cool climate, Vancouver has similar wine growing conditions as Southern France.
This region is best known for its white and sparkling wines. They don’t export much of their wines outside of Canada so you will be visiting many wonderful boutique wineries.
Enjoy food tours in Vancouver and a day trip to explore these excellent wineries with the most stunning landscape.
I hope you enjoyed learning about these wine regions and some of the amazing private experiences we offer. For foodies and wine lovers, these experiences will create the most wonderful memories!
