4 Tips to Have a Seamless Vacation
How to make your international trip seamless even in this post pandemic world? We all want to get away and make up for lost travel opportunities. But it is not as simple to pick up and go as it used to be.
Below are my 4 tips for a seamless international vacation during these complicated times.
Visit only one country… COVID guidelines are different for each country and you may need to have several tests during your vacation if you plan on visiting multiple countries during one trip.
Book direct flights if you can… If you have a layover, you will need to ensure you are following the guidelines even for a country where you may not be leaving the airport. If you don’t have the required documentation you will not be allowed to board the plane.
Check COVID requirements/guidelines regularly as they are changing frequently… Ensure you have the most up to date regulations for the country you are visiting as well as the requirements to come back to the US.
Know where you will get tested before returning to the US… Currently, the US requires anyone returning from an international destination to have a negative COVID test taken no more than 3 days before departure. This is the type of thing you need to know before you leave on your trip. Where will you get tested? How far in advance do you need to make an appointment? We ensure our clients have these details (often times our hotels offer testing onsite or we assist by providing clients with information on where to get tested).
