The Islands of Hawaii

The fresh, floral air will energize you, the warm, tranquil waters will refresh you, and the breathtaking natural beauty will renew you. There is no place on earth like Hawaii!

There are 6 islands in Hawaii one can visit and each one offers a totally different experience. So which one to choose?

Are you fascinated by nature? Twice as large as the other islands combined, the BIG ISLAND is a powerful force of nature with its vast smoldering volcanoes and lava flows. It’s a wonderland of black sand beaches and towering, snow-capped mountains. There are some amazing resorts here as well!

Do you crave outdoor activities, including hiking and both ocean and river kayaking? The island of KAUAI offers some of the state’s most spectacular scenery, with towering sea cliffs, lush rainforests, steep canyons, and unspoiled white sand beaches.

Want to get away from it all but be pampered and enjoy golf on the island’s Four Seasons Resort? LANAI is the smallest and least populated of the visitor-accessible Hawaiian islands. Visitors will find a charming plantation town, secluded beaches, and miles of rugged back country to explore on horseback or by four-wheel-drive vehicles.

Beautiful scenery on the Road to Hana, Maui, HI

Do you love luxury resorts with impeccable service on a spectacular and diverse island? The choices abound in the beautiful island of MAUI. You can lounge on the beach all day, swim with giant sea turtles, or visit the summit of an extinct volcano for sunrise, and bike ride down! Maui is the most diverse island with some nightlife, relaxation, and wonderful activities. Want to get away from it all and enjoy natural beauty? If you are not looking for luxurious accommodations, MOLOKAI may be for you! Its deep valleys, rugged coast and rolling grasslands are the perfect setting for outdoor activities.

Spectacular sunset on Hanauma Bay, Oahu, HI

Want to experience the incredible history at Pearl Harbor and enjoy vibrant Waikiki Beach? OAHU may be your island! You can stay in metropolitan Waikiki Beach or you can opt to stay in a much quieter area on other parts of the island.

How to decide which islands to visit and where to stay? I would be honored to help! I first visited Hawaii for our honeymoon over 20 years ago and continue to visit the islands. Hawaii has many options and it is not a one size fits all destination. Contact me to schedule your complimentary consultation to begin planning!
