NOT YOUR TYPICAL CRUISE EXPERIENCE

The cruise industry is innovating and creating so many unique experiences. Not only are there a ton of options today but so many amazing cruise offerings will be launching between 2018 and 2020.

So what’s available today…

  • Large ocean cruising - Imagine walking into a huge floating resort, carrying up to 5,500 passengers! You can expect endless activities onboard such as rock climbing, casinos, nightclubs, and Broadway style shows. These large ocean lines are not all inclusive. Alcoholic beverages, shore excursions, and some of the nightly entertainment are offered at an additional cost.

  • Luxury ocean cruising - These ships treat travelers to a luxury cruising experience with smaller ships (most carry around 600 passengers), personalized service and excellent upscale dining options. Some are truly all-inclusive from meals and drinks to shore excursions all included in your cruise rate. Because they are smaller they can reach ports where the large ships can't dock and they stay in ports longer, sometimes even overnight. Interested in cruising the world? These luxury lines offer Around the World cruises!

  • River cruising - The best way I could describe river cruising is you feel like you're floating along on your very own boutique hotel, without the crowds and visiting so many charming European cities and villages along the way. With only about 150 passengers onboard, the entire experience is relaxed, intimate, and exclusive. Some river cruise lines also offer an all inclusive experience in your cruise rate (you step off the ship without an additional bill for your drinks, activities, sightseeing, and even tips).

Launching within the next two years…

  • Richard Branson’s renowned Virgin Group will be launching Virgin Voyages in 2020. These adult only ships will carry 2,700 passengers and only allow guests 18 and up. The company is promising a different cruise experience with very sexy ships.

  • Ritz Carlton will be launching the Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection in 2019. We all know and love the luxury brand, soon you will be able to cruise with them. The ships will carry only 300 passengers in its 150 suites. The smaller yachts will allow them to dock in small ports where travelers will be able to explore cities like Portofino and Capri in Italy, Greek and Caribbean islands where larger ships can’t dock.

  • Norwegian Yacht Voyages is set to launch in 2020. These all suite ships with only 110 cabins will offer expedition cruising. Their expedition cruises will offer guests the ability to scuba dive, sea kayak, and paddleboard right from the ships.

  • River cruising for the 21-45 year olds - U by Uniworld launches in Spring of 2018. European River cruising is an amazing experience where you are floating on a boutique hotel and exploring beautiful European cities every single day. But river cruise travelers are usually 50 and up. Well, these new ships have been built specifically for the younger generation to enjoy river cruising. The décor, entertainment, activities, and itineraries were all designed around this age group’s interests.

These new lines launching within the next two years have amazing promotions now if you reserve pre-launch.
