Should I check-in my suitcase or travel with a carry-on only?
This is always a debatable topic and very much a personal preference. Is there a chance your suitcase will get lost if checking it in? Absolutely! But are you comfortable fitting all your belongings in a small suitcase, especially for a trip that is longer than a few days? Will you shop while traveling and then have no space to fit your purchases? These are all the things to consider when deciding whether to check-in or carry-on.
What type of electric converter / adapter will I need?
Electricity supply differs by country, but you will need a converter or adapter. If your electronics do not have dual voltage (most phones, laptops, etc. have dual voltage), you will need a power converter not an adapter. The converter will change the electric power going into your appliance. The adapter simply allows it to fit in the holes, which can damage the item if it does not allow for dual voltage.
How do I get local currency? Before your departure request the local currency from your bank. It is usually available within a few days. This is the easiest way so you don’t have to worry about exchanging upon arrival. Most hotels will be happy to exchange for you or you can also try a local bank.
What are the tipping guidelines at my destination? All our tours and transportation are on a private basis, so we include the suggested gratuities for each type of activity and by country. Whether you have a half day or full day tour or a short or long transfer between cities, we include the suggested amounts in your travel documents. It is also appreciated if you tip in local currency.
How much walking / activity is involved in the day excursions?
The amount of activity depends on the specific tour. However, all the services we provide are private and completely customized to the travelers. Upon meeting with your trusted driver or guide, for each tour, you will discuss the day. If it’s a full day tour, you will discuss the activities, when / where you can stop for lunch, and the rigor of the activities.
How do I handle flight disruptions?

They are experts who will work with you to figure out the best way to get you home. If booking air on your own the best way is to work directly with the airline to figure out availability and re-booking.
