Spend the Right Amount of Time (for You) at Main Attractions
This is super important because you may love art and museums so the 4 hour visit of the Louvre, included in your group tour, may be perfect for you. However, perhaps you are a true fan and lover of art and that’s not enough time at the Louvre. You may want to spend a whole day there. Or on the opposite spectrum, many clients really just want to see the masterpieces and a 2-hour private tour with a guide is all they need. Then you’ll have the rest of the day to explore Parisian neighborhoods, or palaces, or shopping, or whatever else you love to do!
Travel at Your Speed
Just because you’re traveling to a country in Europe doesn’t mean you need to see all of it! If you only have 10 nights that’s usually not enough to soak it all in, stroll through cobblestone streets and sit at a café in the afternoons. Many escorted tours will have you in a different city every one or two nights. I usually recommend at least 3 nights in a city so you can have time to really appreciate it and not just visit the main attractions.
